Since graduating from London College of Fashion in 2010 with a BA Hons in Fashion Design Technology, I have been working for 12 years as a seamstress.
For the last 6 years, I have worked as an upholsterer both independently and for the local homeware store “Les Sculpteurs du Lac”.

Having started my career in the fashion industry, working and living in London to living an active lifestyle in the mountains, I became significantly aware of how short term some items can be despite being purchased for their durability and can have a lot more to give before they are thrown into landfill.
This has naturally inspired me to turn to a more sustainable path. To be able to help rejuvenate people’s favourite items, or bridge the gap between their design ideas and a finish product. It fuels me with great drive and inspiration to help more! On that note, I would love to hear about your projects and design ideas and/or any items that are in need of some TLC.
SERVICES
Montagne Verte are a local community building a carbon neutral, sustainable future for all.
My connection began with them in 2018 where I helped work on various events with repairs and craft related projects.
I am delighted to be able to offer a skill that can help towards supporting such an inspiring, progressive organisation that encourages the community to lengthen the life of their favourite items and reduce waste.
